etnies x Sheep

Ever since etnies was founded, the brand has been committed to an ethical and responsible approach to our environment. The etnies design team is constantly researching and developing new ways to keep the company’s ecological footprint as small as possible. In doing so, etnies focuses for example on durability, sustainable materials, animal-free products and environmentally friendly energy supply. Also, 2021 marks the 10th year of the etnies Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree initiative and the brand continues the BASPAT program in partnership with Trees for the Future.

In 1996 etnies created Sheep, a sub brand in order to provide a simple and fun product for skateboarding. Sheep rapidly became the #1 brand in vegan footwear before many even knew what the word vegan meant. Today the Sheep ethos lives on through etnies which is helping support animal friendly products and stories.
