Scandinavian mountain brand Peak Performance introduces its limited-edition capsule with Berlin-based artist Ruohan Wang, known for her bold, whimsical visual language. The collection, named “The Wind Catcher,” blends ultralight performance design with Ruohan’s fantastical, movement-driven artistry, inspired by human movement and the freedom of imagination. It reimagines warm-weather adventure-wear through expressive graphics that celebrate freedom, motion, and optimism. Ruohan brings her vivid visual universe to a lineup including a wind jacket, 2-in-1 shorts, midlayers and accessories. Central to the artwork is her signature walking-legs icon, inspired by the Chinese character 人 (meaning “man/people”) and embodying both human connection and the fearless drive to move forward. This spirit aligns deeply with Peak Performance’s philosophy of exploration, self-expression and freedom, inviting wearers to move through the world with curiosity, joy and an unapologetic sense of self-expression. On the inspiration behind the collaboration, Ruohan says: "One day, while walking on the outskirts of North China, I saw someone practicing Tai Chi in the forest, wearing an outdoor shell jacket. This harmony of stillness in motion, and the balance between human will and nature’s power, became a key inspiration for blending dynamic and still elements in the designs.“ Engineered for hiking and everyday movement, the capsule is build around minimal weight, breathability, and packability - adapting to warm-weather conditions with wind protection, light rain repellency, and full freedom of motion.
