BSTN and Mizuno team up for an elevated lifestyle adaptation of a running classic. A first for the silhouette, the collaborative design introduces the functionality of GORE-TEX’ product technology to the Wave Rider β. The collaborative design takes a best of both worlds approach, combining the smooth ride of the Wave Rider’s running DNA with the functionality of a tried and tested outdoor staple to create a lightweight sneaker for everyday wear. An ideal hybrid, the Wave Rider β delivers all-day comfort without sacrificing weather-proof wearability. Equipped with GORE-TEX’ innovative new ePE membrane, the lifestyle silhouette provides water- and windproof protection from the elements while remaining breathable and ensuring a long product life. In addition, Mizuno’s Wave plate offers maximum stability and the trademark Enerzy foam ensures a softer landing and a responsive bounce in every step.
Drawing inspiration from the alpine mountain ranges just south of BSTN’s hometown of Munich, the multi-facetted upper combines neutral greys and earthy tones with a hint of glacial blue for a toned-down and monochrome look that adapts to different outfits just as easily as it does to changing weather conditions.
